Today, we're enabling our 2016 Chevrolet Silverado to do a little bit more with the UWS toolbox. This is gonna enable us to put a lot of those tools in here, lock 'em up. They're gonna be safe from the elements and free up a lot of that cab space. This is the gloss black option, but there is a matte black option along with an aluminum option. So if you want to kind of pick which color looks best for your truck, you do have that option with us. Our latches right here are gonna be on both sides and you can access them from the side of the truck. more

It doesn't give you as much space at the bottom as some of the other crossover design ones do but it's gonna be a deep angle design. What's up everybody It's AJ with etriler.com. Today, we're checking out this UWS Crossover Low Profile Toolbox in the back of our 2010 Ford F-250 Super Duty. The toolbox has a nice texture on top, it's gonna be a black powder coat aluminum design, so you know it's gonna hold up just fine against the elements, 'cause it's gonna be in the back of your truck all the time. You have two latches on each side, they're gonna be stainless steel, just pop that, the top opens super easily there, and you can do that from either side. Now, the only side that locks on is gonna be the driver's side, so just push that down, turn the lock, and it can't be accessed, so it's nice that it's on the driver's side, so whenever you're walking over here or getting out of your truck, you can just unlock it really easily on your way. Here, I open up the lid here, so we can take a look at what we got on the inside. more

So this is really a premium toolbox, and I have to kinda hold it here just because it is not mounted, but as you can see, very easy to close, so one of the really great benefits of a Weather Guard truck toolbox. The gas cylinders help lift the lid and hold it open, and it can open a full 90 degrees for easy access to the inside of the box. Now, this 41 1/4 inch long toolbox has a total inside capacity of 3.8 cubic feet, I left the instructions in here so you can see the bottom since it's a little bit dark in there. more

Now, the box uses a rotary-style latch that provides smooth one touch opening. And what I love about these Weather Guard boxes is not only do they open very easily, but they close very easily as well. So, as you can see very little force to close this, and so, even if you're on the driver's side or the passenger side of your truck, and you're not directly inside your bed, you will have no problems closing this, you will never have to slam this, just takes a gentle push and this is closed and secure. more
